Project description
On behalf of IBB Kondor and designed by architect William McDonough+Partners, Verwol worked on the realization of Plantronics’ new building. The BREEAM-certified office is located at Park 20|20 in Hoofddorp, where sustainability, a healthy and green work environment, and circular thinking are central themes.
Specially for this project, we developed the ‘Crystal Core’ wall in collaboration with the architect. The wall, featuring a diamond-pattern relief, is located in the stairwell, with the pattern recurring in various parts of the office.
In addition, Verwol was responsible for the system ceilings, aluminum-framed doors, flush doors, light bulkheads, vertical bulkheads, film on glass, the landing cladding, metal stud walls, sound-absorbing panels, acoustic baffles and system walls.
The glass system walls are installed with profiles hidden in the raised floor and ceiling.
The result of all this work is a sleek office design with a strong focus on acoustics, which is fitting for Plantronics, a developer and manufacturer of audio communication products.
